The following is police activity in Mason County reported on Thursday, April 26, 2012.
The Shelton Police Department is investigating two assaults reported in the city: in the 3300 Block of Shelton Springs Road and on Capital Hill in the 300 Block of Oak Street.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is looking into an assault reported to deputies at the Sheriff’s Office and two domestic assaults: one on E Evergreen Lane in Shorecrest; the other in the 400 Block of NE Newkirk Road in Belfair.
Thefts were reported from the 1800 Block of W Deegan Road East west of Shelton, from the 200 Block of W Smith Lane near Dayton, from the 100 Block of NE Hilltop Place near Collins Lake, from the 27100 Block of N US Highway 101 north of Rest-A-While, and from W Cloquallum Road between Lost Lake and Arrowhead Lake.
