Losses for SHS Baseball, Softball, Soccer & Tennis

The Thunderbirds jumped on the Highclimbers in the top of the first inning, scoring two runs. However, the ‘Climbers responded in their half of the first taking a 3-2 lead. The T-Birds would tie the game in the top of the second, retake the lead with two in the fourth, add two in the sixth and put the game away with three in the seventh.
Tumwater swept the season series with Shelton and was led by Kyler Collier who was 2 for 4 at the play with three RBI. Brayden Oram was 1 for 3 with a double and two RBI. Graysen Reveal was 1 for 3 with a double and batted in two runs. Derek Thompson was 1 for 3 with an RBI. And Landon Roy batted in a run. The Thunderbirds are 4-and-2 on the season, 2-and-0 in the Evergreen Conference.
The Highclimbers were led in the loss by Matt Carleton who was 1 for 2 with an RBI. Spencer Coots was 1 for 3 with a double. And Trevor Rhoades was 1 for 3. The ‘Climbers drop to 1-and-3 on the season, 0-and-2 in EVCO play.
Shelton host Aloha High School out of Oregon Friday. First pitch is 2 PM. MasonWebTV Powered by HCC will broadcast the game between the Warriors and Highclimbers.
The Shelton fastpitch softball team lost at Centralia Wednesday 4 to 1. Compete game details were not available. The Highclimbers drop to 1-and-5 on the season while the Tigers improve to 4-and-0. The Lady-‘Climbers host Tumwater Friday.
The Shelton boys’ soccer team lost at Tumwater Wednesday 4 to 1. The Highclimbers drop to 1-and-3 on the season. They host Rochester Saturday.
The Shelton girls’ tennis team opened the season Wednesday with a 4 to 2 loss to River Ridge. The Highclimbers host Montesano today (Thurs. March 23rd).
