Shelton Police are investigating a homicide that occurred early Thursday morning on West Cedar Street and are seeking two individuals believed to be involved.

According to a news release, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of West Cedar about 1:30 AM. Upon arrival, police found an adult male with a gunshot wound. Officers administered lifesaving efforts to the victim, who was subsequently transported to Mason General Hospital where he succumbed to his injury.

Investigators are asking for assistance in locating 40-year-old William Charles Williams and 24-year-old Kennedy Marie Karpf, both Shelton residents, regarding this homicide.

They are known to be traveling in a beige 1999 Toyota Camry, WA plate BYZ5301. Williams is also associated with a beige 1999 Toyota Corolla, WA plate BIY9833.

Currently, there is no indication that there is a threat to public safety. However, the two individuals are considered armed and dangerous.

Shelton Police are requesting that anyone who has knowledge of the location of either William Williams or Kennedy Karpf, or knows their whereabouts to not approach them and to contact law enforcement agency immediately.
