Shelton Girls’ Basketball Falls to Tumwater

The Tumwater girls’ basketball team held Shelton to two points in the first quarter Wednesday on the way to a 58 to 25 win over the Highclimbers.

The Thunderbirds took advantage of 40 ‘Climber turnovers and cruised to their second victory with three players scoring in double figures. Sydney Sumrock hit three, three-pointers and finished with 18 points. Ryhlee Beebe also scored 18 points for Tumwater. And Regan Brewer added 10 points.

Leading scorer for Shelton was Cedar Wily with 11 points.
