For the 19th consecutive year, Mason PUD 3 has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association.

“Our theme for the report was ‘Leading the Way’, which is exactly what we strive to do at PUD 3,” Manager Annette Creekpaum said. “Our team of experts work to stay ahead of the curve to ensure that we provide our customers with the best possible services.”

The report was judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes a “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story, according to a news release by GFOA.

The PUD is both a diamond-level Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3) in Washington State, and a “Smart Energy Provider,” as designated by the American Public Power Association.
