The Port of Allyn Commission is accepting applications from residents interested in the vacant Commissioner District 2 seat. To be considered for this vacant position (previously held by Ted Jackson), you must be a registered voter living in the Port of Allyn’s Commissioner District 2 which is the Allyn and Victor areas of Mason County.
Interested residents should submit a cover letter and resume to the Port along with their application (found on the Port’s website) and their answers to the following questions:
- Why are you interested in serving as a Port of Allyn Commissioner?
- What strength(s) would you bring to the Commission?
- Explain your current and past community involvement and/or service on city, nonprofit, or public
boards, committees, task forces, or commissions and how this has contributed to the Mason
County community. Address its relevance to the position of Port of Allyn Commissioner. - Is there anything else that you may wish to add that would help us get to know you a little better?
