Bremerton Motorcyclist Injured in Belfair Crash

A Bremerton man was injured Saturday afternoon when his motorcycle was struck by a truck on Highway 3 in Belfair.

The Washington State Patrol says the truck attempted to merge into northbound traffic on State Route 3 from in front to the Belfair Habitat for Humanity store about 4:30 PM and struck a northbound motorcycle. Both vehicles came to rest in the northbound lane.

The motorcyclist, a 67-year-old Bremerton man, was injured and transported to St. Michaels Hospital in Bremerton.
The driver of the truck, a 52-year-old Bremerton man, was not injured.
