Mason County Public Hospital District No. 2 which provides healthcare services to the North Mason area including Belfair, Dewatto and Tahuya, is polling the community about their clinic on Romance Hill Road. Hospital District 2 contracts with Harrison Medical Center to provide Primary and Urgent Care. The Urgent care Clinic is open seven days a week from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM while Primary Care is provided weekdays from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. In its three-year existence, Harrison Belfair has seen about 33,000 patients and averages about 30 Primary Care patients a day. The five-member Commission that oversees the Clinic’s operation has created a short survey and wants to hear from all residents of Hospital District 2. The ten-question survey will help the Commissioners insure that the services provided match current needs, and help them develop plans to meet the future needs of the area. Questions on the survey specifically ask about your satisfaction with the Clinics, what amenities you believe should be offered, and what types of programs are needed. The survey also asks about the Hospital District’s website, www.mcphd2.org, and has a place to offer comments or suggestions. The survey is available at all Belfair pharmacies and on the website. Click here for a direct link to the survey. You may also contact any of the Hospital District Commissioners or the District’s Superintendent with your comments, complaints, ideas, requests, or suggestions. Contact information is available on www.mcphd2.org.
