[VIDEO] Friday, Mason County officials and the Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the new location for about half the staff of Mason County Public Health with a ribbon cutting and an open house.
Last month, Public Health Vital Records and Community Health from downtown Shelton to near Mason General Hospital and Olympic Middle School: 2300 Kati Court, Suite A, Shelton.
The programs and services located at the new building include:
Vital Records (Birth Certificates & Death Certificates)
Community Health:
Communicable Disease
Maternal Child Health
Behavioral Health (Mental Health & Substance Use)
Homeless Response System
Chronic Disease Prevention
Health Education
Environmental Health (Water, On-site Sewage/Septic, Solid Waste/Code Enforcement, Food Safety, etc.) remain at their current location: 415 N 6th Street, Shelton.
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program also remain at its current location at the Shelton Family YMCA, 3101 N Shelton Springs Road, Shelton.
