A motorcyclist was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after a three-vehicle crash on Highway 3 near the McDonalds in Belfair Saturday afternoon.

The Washington State Patrol says a pickup truck traveling westbound on Ridgepoint Boulevard failed to stop at the stop sign at State Route 3, struck a northbound motorcycle and then struck a southbound sedan. All three vehicles came to rest blocking both directions of Highway 3 about 3:45 PM.

The 67-year-old Bremerton man on the motorcycle was flown to Harborview.
The driver, a 33-year-old Puyallup man, and passenger, a 33-year-old Wichita, Kansas woman, in the sedan were not injured.
The driver of the pickup, a 69-year-old Tahuya man, was not injured but does face charges of Driving Under the Influence and Vehicular Assault, as a press memo indicates that drugs or alcohol were involved.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.

All three vehicles were totaled in the crash.
