Mat Classic XXXVI (the State Wrestling Championships) gets underway today at the Tacoma Dome and 35 wrestlers from Mason County will be competing. Of those, 19 are from Shelton and 15 are from North Mason.

District Basketball Continues
Two teams from Mason County continue play in District Basketball tournaments.
The North Mason girls’ basketball team are hosting Clover Park at 6 PM today (Thurs. Feb. 20th) in a loser-out game in the third round of the Class 2A District 3 Tournament. MasonWebTV Powered by HCC will broadcast the game live.
The Mary M. Knight girls’ basketball team is taking on Wahkiakum tonight at Raymond High School. This is also a loser-out game but in the Class 1B District 4 Tournament. Tipoff is 6 PM and can be viewed on the NFHS Network.
