A 75-year-old Belfair Woman has died after sustaining injuries from a two-vehicle crash near North Bay on April 15th.
The Washington State Patrol reports that Jacquelyn B. Talley passed away at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where she was flown following the crash on State Route 302.
Talley was a passenger in a westbound pickup truck that was struck by an eastbound SUV which failed to negotiate a curve and drove into oncoming traffic. Five other people were injured in the crash and were taken to hospitals.
The cause of the crash is now listed as “Failure to negotiate a curve” and the updated press memo from the State Patrol says charges are “Pending” against the 87-year-old Belfair woman who was driving the SUV.
