Live Fire Training in Union

[VIDEO] A house near Union was purposely burned down Saturday as part of live fire training for firefighters from the Union Fire Department (Mason County Fire District No. 6), West Mason Fire and Hoodsport Fire & EMS. The two-story house owned by Mason County PUD No. 1 near the intersection of McReavy and Manzanita roads needed to be demolished to make way for new water tanks. The fire department partnered with PUD 1 to use the structure for training. MasonWebTV Powered by HCC’s Dedrick Allan spoke with several officials after training was complete.

The house took over an hour to burn down.
