Travelers who use State Route 3 in Shelton will want to plan extra travel time.
8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 13:
- Expect lane closures and intermittent stops up to 15 minutes in both directions between U.S. Highway 101 and Arcadia Road.
- Flaggers will direct traffic at the intersection of SR 3 and Arcadia Road.
During the lane closures, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will repair the surface of the roadway.

- Slow down – drive the posted speeds, they’re there for everyone’s safety.
- Be kind – workers are out there helping to keep everyone safe and improve the roadways.
- Pay attention – both to workers directing traffic and to fellow travelers.
- Stay Calm – expect delays, leave early or take alternate routes if possible.
