The North Mason fastpitch softball team advanced to the second day of the 2025 Class 2A West Central District 3 Tournament Friday, winning one of two games. The Bulldogs beat Washington 16 to 0 in their first round game but were shutout by Port Angeles 6 to 0 in the second round.

NM’s Addyson Roy held the Patriots to one hit while striking out eight in game one as her team pounded out 13 hits.
Jenna Markuson led North Mason’s offense going 3 for 4 at the plate with a double, triple and home run, batting in four runs.
Taylor Madison was 2 for 3 with a homer and two RBI.
Adrianna Crowley, Mikayla Minnis, Madalyn Smith, and Aubrey Dunham had two hits each.

In the second game against the Roughriders, the Bulldogs were held to five hits with Markuson getting two of them including a double. Kennady Carson, Madison, and Roy had the other hits for NM.

The loss to Port Angeles dropped the girls from Belfair into the consolation bracket. North Mason plays Fife at 5 PM Saturday, May 17, 2025 in a loser out game on MasonWebTV Powered by HCC. If the Bulldogs beat the Trojans, they would play either Olympic or Franklin Pierce at 7:15 PM for a chance to make the State Tournament. MasonWebTV Powered by HCC will also broadcast that game is NM win.
