NM, SHS & MMK District Track & Field Results

North Mason had two champions in the Class 2A West Central District 3 Track and Field Championships at Bremerton High School which wrapped up Friday. The Bulldogs are sending four athletes to State to compete in six events.

NM Champions:
Adrianna “A” Tupolo in the girls’ discus and heading to state.
Samantha Neil in the girls’ pole vault and heading to state.

Bulldogs placing and advancing to State:
Adrianna “A” Tupolo placed 3rd in the girls’ javelin and was 4th in the girls’ shot put.
Adrianne “E” Tupolo took 4th in the girls’ long jump.
Alisha Carpenter finished 4th in the girls’ 3200 meters.

Other Bulldogs to compete but only the top four made the state meet:
Brylie Biehl placed 5th in the girls’ 100-meter hurdles.
Adrianne “E” Tupolo finished 5th in the girls’ javelin.
Owen Dukeshier was 6th in the boys’ javelin.
Palmer Neil took 6th in the boys’ pole vault.
Audrey Petersen placed 7th in the girls’ sho put.
Derek Dunham finished 9th in the boys’ 200 meters.
Black Evans was 9th in the boys’ high jump.
The girls’ relay team of Jhasmine Espinoza, Sophi Mairs, Melandra Steiger & Sophia Sparks placed 8th in the 4 x 200.
Grady Porter finished 11th in the boys’ 300-meter hurdles.
Malik King was 12th in the boys’ 110-meter hurdles.
The boys’ relay team of Blake Evans, Derek Dunham, Shawn McBride & Malik King finished 12th in the 4 x 100.
The girls’ relay team of Addisen Sheridan, Adrianne Tupolo, Natalya Garcia & Brylie Biehl was disqualified in the 4 x 100.

In team scoring, the North Mason girls’ team finished 6th while the boys from Belfair were 15th.

The Class 2A State Championships are May 29th through May 31st at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma.


Shelton sent five athletes to the Class 3A West Central District 3/Southwest District 4 Track and Field Championships at Kent Meridian High School which wrapped up Friday.
The Highclimbers are:
Claire Warnock finished 12th in the girls’ 300-meter hurdles and 15 in the 100-meter hurdles.
Bennett Henry placed 13th in the boys’ javelin.
Hailee Nadeau was 19th in the girls’ 800 meters.
Madison Lohmeyer took 19th in the girls’ 3200 meters
Ryann Simmons Jr. finished 20th in the boys’ 110-meter hurdles.


Thursday, in the Class 1B Southwest District 4 Track and Field Championships at Franklin Pierce High School in Tacoma, the Mary M. Knight girls’ team finished 15th while the boys from Matlock were 23rd. The Owls had one athlete qualify for State: Lexi Stamper.

Top MMK Finishers:
Lexi Stamper took 2nd in the girls’ shot put with a personal record toss of 33-0200 to qualify for the State Meet.
Bella Buck was 3rd in the girls’ javelin, just missing State as only the top two finishers advance.
Logan Green finished 6th in the boys’ high jump and was 12th in the long jump.
Ryder Lake placed 10th in the boys’ 400 meters and 14th in the 800 meters.

The Class 1B State Track and Field Championships are Mary 29th through May 31st at Eisenhower High School’s Zaepfel Stadium in Yakima.
