A hit-and-run crash involving a loose trailer north of Belfair Thursday morning injured a Grapeview woman.
The Washington State Patrol says a truck pulling a trailer was southbound on State Route 3 just before 11 AM. At milepost 27, the trailer disconnected and struck a northbound sedan. The trailer continued and struck a small SUV. The trailer and the sedan came to rest in the northbound lane while the SUV ended up in the southbound lane. The truck did not stop and continued southbound.
The driver of the sedan, a 37-year-old Grapeview woman, was injured and transported to St. Anthony Hospital in Bremerton.
The driver of the SUV, a 68-year-old Port Orchard woman, was not injured.
The State Patrol is looking for the driver of the truck which was white. Anyone with information should contact the Washington State Patrol.
