Two Shelton residents were injured and a Shelton woman faces charges after a single car rollover crash on U.S. Highway 101 Tuesday night.

The Washington State Patrol says the car was northbound on 101 about 10 PM. At milepost 355, the car failed to negotiate a curve, left the highway to the right, and rolled, coming to rest in the median.

A 25-year-old Shelton female passenger was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
A 28-year-old Shelton male passenger was transported to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.

A 19-year-old Shelton male passenger and a 19-year-old Shelton female driver were not injured.

A press memo indicates that alcohol or drugs were involved and the cause of the crash lists “Speed Too Fast for Conditions.” The driver faces DUI and Vehicular Assault charges.

A 74-year-old Shelton man was injured about 3 PM after a failed U-turn at the U.S. Highway 101 / State Route 106 intersection near Potlatch. The man’s SUV ended up in the southbound 101 ditch and the driver was taken to Mason General Hospital.
