[VIDEO] The concept of the Belfair Sewer being extending to serve the City of Bremerton – specifically the south portion of PSIC (Puget Sound Industrial Complex) was the focus of Thursday’s North Mason Community Voice meeting. Mason County’s newest Commissioner, Pat Tarzwell, was first to speak at the Voice meeting. The District Two Commissioner started talking about his background and focus as a new commissioner by the conversation turned to the Belfair Sewer.

After Commissioner Tarzwell was Ned Lever, City Engineer for the City of Bremerton, who went deep into the idea of extending the sewer to PSIC and discussed other potential options for the City to provide sewer to the area which is just across the Kitsap County Line.

Staff from the City of Bremerton and Mason County are still exploring the options for both the City and the County. No decisions have been made but more meetings between the two entities will be scheduled.
