Mason Health honors TJ Mulligan as August 2025 Employee of the Month.

Mason Health is proud to recognize TJ Mulligan, CT/X-Ray Lead Technician in Diagnostic Imaging, as the August 2025 Employee of the Month. Known for his technical expertise, compassionate care, and dedication to both his team and patients, Mulligan has been a vital part of Mason Health since 2010. Mason Health congratulates Mulligan on this well-deserved recognition and thanks him for his continued service and dedication to improving patient care.

Originally from Port Orchard, Mulligan initially considered going into music, health care or engineering. His love of technology and helping people pushed him toward Diagnostic Imaging, a field he considered to be respectable and well-paying. He wanted to set a good example for his young son.

Mulligan began his journey with Mason Health as a student in 2009, completing clinical requirements through PIMA Medical Institute. He was hired immediately after graduation and quickly proved himself as a skilled and reliable X-Ray Technician. Over the years, Mulligan advanced into CT imaging and was promoted to Lead Technician in 2019, overseeing CT, X-Ray, and PACS operations.

“I’ve always been fascinated by technology and how things work,” he shared. “Being able to help people through imaging combines my love for electronics with a meaningful career in health care.”

Mulligan moved to Mason County in 2012 and settled in Shelton in 2015. Outside of work, he’s a talented musician who has toured internationally and performed locally at events like Hoodstock. He’s also worked as a vendor at Hoodstock, offering a fusion of Hawaiian, Filipino and Guamanian cuisine to the community.

Mulligan’s colleagues describe him as a natural leader, a problem-solver, and someone who brings both heart and innovation to the workplace. His commitment to excellence and his ability to mentor others make him a standout member of the Diagnostic Imaging team.
