The Mason Health Foundation Auxiliary is calling on the community for support to sustain its long-standing mission of funding medical scholarships for local high school students and Mason Health employees. The Auxiliary, which operates the Gift Shop at Mason General Hospital, is in critical need of new members, volunteers, and a visionary volunteer Gift Shop Manager to help guide the future of its retail operations.
The Gift Shop is more than a place to find thoughtful gifts — it’s a vital fundraising arm of the Auxiliary. Every purchase directly supports scholarships that help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals in Mason County.
“We’re at a turning point,” said Carol Goodburn, longtime treasurer of the Auxiliary. “Many of our leaders have served for decades, and we need new energy and fresh ideas to keep this important work going. The Gift Shop at Mason General Hospital provides essential funds to help educate our next generation of health care leaders.”
The Auxiliary welcomes:
New members to help shape the future of the organization.
- Volunteers to staff the Gift Shop—no membership required.
- A volunteer Gift Shop Manager to lead retail operations and help reimagine the shop’s role in the hospital and community.
Whether you have a few hours to spare or a passion for community service, your involvement can make a lasting impact.
