High School Sports Results from 10/8/25

Tie for SHS Tennis; SHS Cross Country Results; Win for MMK Volleyball

The Shelton boys’ tennis team‘s match at Tumwater Wednesday ended in a 3-3 tie. Individual results were not available. The Highclimbers take on Heritage at Kelso High School next Wednesday.

The Shelton cross country teams hosted Centralia and Black Hills Wednesday.
Top Highclimbers were Trayson Bartholomew who was 3rd among male runners; Madison Lohmeyer who was 5th among female runners; Addison Aldrich took 7th among female runners.
Other participants: Nathan Vogel (11th), Ismael Funes Salas (12th), Jamin Bakota (14th), Holly Jorgensen (15th), Robby Valdeman (16th), Silas Baker (19th), Ruben Dale (20th), Lalo Hernandez Morales (22nd), and Scout Laurent (26th).
Shelton runs in the 4th Annual Fall Classic Invitational at PLU Meadows Disc Golf Course Saturday.

The Mary M. Knight volleyball team beat Lake Quinault on the road Wednesday 3 to 0. The set scores were 25-19, 25-4, 25-13. The Owls improved to 5-and-5 on the season, 3-and-5 in the Coastal League. MMK plays in the Ocosta Invitational Saturday.

High School Sports Schedule for Thursday, October 9, 2025:

Boys’ Tennis: North Kitsap at North Mason 4 PM

Volleyball: Sequim at North Mason 6:30 PM; Shelton at W.F. West 7 PM

Girls’ Soccer: Sequim at North Mason 7 PM; W.F. West at Shelton 7 PM
