Win for SHS Volleyball; Losses for SHS Soccer, NM Soccer & Volleyball
The Shelton volleyball team beat W.F. West Thursday 3 to 1. The Highclimbers improved to 7-and-4 on the season, 3-and-1 in the Evergreen Conference. The Lady-‘Climbers travel to Centralia Tuesday.
The Shelton girls’ soccer team was shutout by W.F. West Thursday 3 to 0. The Highclimbers drop to 1-8-and-1 on the season, 0-and-5 in the Evergreen Conference. The Lady-‘Climbers travel to Kelso Saturday.
The North Mason girls’ soccer team lost a close one to Sequim Thursday 2 to 1. The Bulldogs tied the game in the 65th minute and the match went to overtime. Three minutes into the five-minute sudden-death overtime period, the Wolves broke away and ended the game. NM drops to 2-and-8 on the season, 1-and-7 in Olympic League play. The girls from Belfair play at Bremerton Tuesday.
The North Mason volleyball team lost to Sequim Thursday 3 to 1. The Bulldogs 2-and-9 on the season, 1-and-7 in the Olympic League. NM plays at winless Bremerton Tuesday.
