Are you looking to get involved in your community? Are you interested in giving your feedback on future Parks and Recreation projects in the City of Shelton?
The Shelton Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, established in 2009, provides recommendations and guidance on future park planning and improvements, recreation programs, regulations, and rules of use for City park facilities. This group serves as a liaison between community members and the City Council on Parks and Recreation-related matters.
The committee has two vacancies, which can be filled either by two City residents or one Mason County resident and one City resident. Members serve a 3-year term. Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m.
To apply, please submit a letter of interest to Parks and Recreation Supervisor Jordanne Krumpols at [email protected] or by mail to the Civic Center, located at 525 West Cota Street.
