[VIDEO] Tuesday, Mason Health celebrated the installation of an Open MRI at Mason General Hospital with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Mason Health’s CEO, Eric Moll, opened the ceremony and COO Winfried Danke explained more about the MRI:
The Oasis Velocity High-Field Open MRI system by Fujifilm, a state-of-the-art imaging solution, will enhance diagnostic capabilities for patients across Mason County and beyond. The new MRI was installed at the Shelton hospital last month and will be fully operational early next year.
According to officials, the MRI combines high-field strength with an open design, making it ideal for patients who experience claustrophobia or require additional space. Its advanced imaging software delivers sharper images with shorter scan times and improved diagnostic precision with a more comfortable and accessible environment.
