High School Sports Report from 11/13/25

SHS Volleyball Eliminated from District

The Shelton volleyball team’s season came to an end Thursday night in the 2025 District 4 Class 3A Tournament as the Highclimbers fell to top seeded Prairie in three sets: 25-9, 25-12, 25-18. The loss to the Falcons eliminated the ‘Climbers from the tournament. Shelton finishes the season with a 10-and-9 record.
Prairie advances to the District Championship match against Kelso on Saturday. The Hilanders won their match against Mountain View 3 to 0.

On Saturday, the Mary M. Knight football team plays Wishkah Valley for the Class 1B Coastal League Six-Man football Championship. The Owls are 4-and-4 on the season while the Loggers are 7-and-0. WV beat MMK twice in the regular season: 64 to 12 on October 4th and 39 to 6 on September 13th. Kickoff for the game at the small school outside Aberdeen is 1 PM.
