The Washington State Patrol is looking for the driver of a small SUV who fled the scene of a two-vehicle crash on State Route 3 in Belfair Thursday morning.
A press memo says the SUV was in the entrance of a restaurant in the 22,500 block of SR 3. About 10:30 AM, the SUV attempted a left turn and struck a southbound sedan. The SUV continues southbound, left the highway to the right and struck a building where it came to rest. The sedan stopped on the right shoulder.
No injuries were reported but the driver of the SUV was not on scene with emergency crews arrived and it is unknown whether that unidentified driver was injured.
