The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Skokomish River. This Flood Warning is in effect until late this evening, Friday, March 20,2026.
Rain will continue in the area through into early afternoon before tapering off.
According to Forecasters, the River will rise above flood stage this afternoon and is expected to crest around 16.7 feet. It will then fall below flood stage late this evening. Minor flooding is expected.
At 16.5 feet, the Skokomish River will cause widespread flooding of pasture lands, with water flowing quickly over West Bourgault Road and Skokomish Valley Road.
