[VIDEO] Three people have officially expressed interest in the vacant seat on the Port of Shelton Commission. The Port’s Executive Director, Wendy Smith, updated the Port Commission on the process on Tuesday.
The names again are Jeff Neely, Jim Murphy and Ned Wilson.
The Port is still accepting letters of interest for the seat left vacant by the April 22nd resignation of Dale Elmlund. Any registered voter, living in the Port of Shelton’s district boundaries, is eligible to submit a letter of interest. They have until 4 PM Wednesday, May 13, 2026 to do so. The Port of Shelton Commission is holding a special meeting at 2 PM Thursday, May 14, 2026 to make an appointment.
Letters of interest should be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at the Port’s office, 21 West Sanderson Way in Shelton.
