NM Track & Field Results; Win for NM Baseball; NM Soccer & Baseball District Bound; Loss for SHS Baseball – Also District Bound
The North Mason track and field teams competed in the first day of the Olympic League Championships at Phil Pugh Stadium in Belfair on Thursday.
Top Bulldog Finishers:
Brylie Biehl on the girls’ 100-meter hurdles and was 3rd in the 100 meters.
Samantha Neil won the girls’ pole vault.
Own Dukeshier place 2nd in the boys’ discus with a personal best 125-11 throw, and was 4th in the javelin.
Baylee Jones was 3rd in the girls’ triple jump.
The girls’ relay team of Addisen Sheridan, Natalie Wolf, Melandra Steiger & Brylie Biehl came in 3rd in the 4 x 100.
Audrey Petersen was 4th in the girls’ shot put.
Clayten Butler took 5th in the both the boys’ javelin and long jump – setting personal bests in both events.
The Olympic League Track & Field Championships continue Saturday at North Mason.
The North Mason baseball team scored five runs in the first inning Thursday and went of the beat Klahowya 11 to 4 to wrap up the regular season. Reid Shumaker, Dylan Prideaux and Caden Atencio batted in two runs each. Atencio hit a double and a triple. Prideaux had a double. Kingston Serebryakov and Ryan Grogan had an RBI each for the Bulldogs. NM improved to 9-and-11 on the season. The boys from Belfair finished 5-and-9 in the Olympic League currently tied with Bremerton and Sequim for fifth in the standings. All three teams made the 2025 District 3 Class 2A Baseball Tournament. North Mason earned a 12th seed and will play at Orting Monday at 4 PM in a loser-out game.
The North Mason boys’ soccer team has made the 2026 District 3 Class 2A Boys Soccer Tournament. The Bulldogs are an 11th seed and play at North Kitsap Saturday at 1 PM in a loser out game.
The Shelton baseball team wrapped up the regular season Thursday with an 11 to 4 loss to Tumwater.

The Thunderbirds scored runs in every inning while pounding out 13 hits. Luke Overbay was 4 for 4 at the plate and hit a solo home run to lead off the sixth inning. And Jimmy Womach was 3 for 4 and batted in three runs to lead the T-Birds.
The Highclimbers scored all their runs in the fifth inning. Gunnar Jensen, Jacob Jacoby, Silas Hoff and Carl Turnbow had RBI for the ‘Climbers in the loss.
Shelton finishes the regular season with 12-and-9 overall record, 6-and-9 in the Evergreen Conference and with their fourth place, the Highclimbers head to the 2026 District 4 Class 3A Baseball Tournament Play-In game against Heritage on Saturday.
