Candidate Filing Week came to an end Friday with a few last minute Declarations of Candidacy before Election Officials in the Mason County Auditor’s Office did the lot draw to set the order for the Primary Ballot.
Here are the candidates in the order they will appear on the August 4, 2026 ballot.
There are seven running for Mason County Commissioner District 3 – the seat currently held by Sharon Trask who is not seeking re-election:

There are four running for Mason County Auditor:
Tamra “Tam” Ingwaldson (Democrat)
Incumbent Steve Duenkel (Republican)
Monika Balmer (Republican)
Vivian Glass (States No Party Preference)
There are two running for Mason County Clerk:
Incumbent Republican Charles G. Rhodes
Republican Tammy Clark
There are two running for Mason County Treasurer:
Republican Randy Lewis
Incumbent Democrat Brittany A. Pearson
Running unopposed
Independent Patti McLean filed to remain Mason County Assessor.
Democrat Jaime Taylor filed to retain her seat as Mason County Coroner.
Republican Michael Dorcy filed for his seat as Mason County Prosecutor.
Ryan Spurling (running as a Republican) filed to remain Mason County Sheriff.
George Alan Steele filed to retain his seat as Mason County District Court Judge.
Two are running for Mason PUD 3 Commissioner District 2 – the non-partisan seat currently held by Tom Farmer:

Ronald S. Gold is running unopposed for Mason County PUD No. 1 Commissioner District 3.
