SHS Baseball Wins District Play-In Game; NM District Track & Field Results; NM Soccer Falls in District
The Shelton baseball team knocked off Heritage Saturday 4 to 0 in the play in game for the 2026 District 4 Class 3A Baseball Tournament.

The Highclimbers held the Timberwolves to one hit with Daniel Crossan going the distance, striking out 15 and walking none.
Silas Hoff got the ‘Climbers on the board in the top of the seventh inning with a three-run triple. Cam Winans batted in Hoff on the next at-bat with a double. Shelton had a total of eight hits. Hoff finished 2 for 4 with Crossan, Zaine Harding, Carl Turnbow, Easton Wagner, and Ryan Brady each getting a hit.

The Highclimbers take on Mountain View, the number one team out of the 3A Greater St. Helens League, on Wednesday. The game is set for 4:30 PM in Vancouver.
The North Mason track and field teams wrapped up competition in the Olympic League Championships on Saturday. The Lady Bulldogs finished fifth in the team standings while the boys from Belfair were sixth.
Top NM Finishers during the two-day meet:
Brylie Biehl won the girls’ 100-meter hurdles, was 3rd in the 100 meters, and 3rd in the 200 meters.
Samantha Neil won the girls’ pole vault.
Derek Dunham won the boys’ shot put with a personal best throw of 48-10.75.
Palmer Neil was 2nd in the boys’ pole vauts.
Own Dukeshier place 2nd in the boys’ discus with a personal best 125-11 throw, was 4th in the javelin, and 8th in the shot put.
Alisha Carpenter was 2nd in the girls’ 3200 meters with a personal best 11:50.24a.
Baylee Jones was 3rd in the girls’ triple jump and 6th in the girls’ javelin.
Grady Porter finished 3rd in the boys’ 300-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 32.30a.
The girls’ relay team of Addisen Sheridan, Natalie Wolf, Melandra Steiger & Brylie Biehl came in 3rd in the 4 x 100.
Audrey Petersen was 4th in the girls’ shot put.
Natalie Wolf placed 4th in the girls’ 300-meter hurdles.
Clayten Butler took 5th in the both the boys’ javelin and long jump – setting personal bests in both events.
Melandra Steiger placed 6th in the girls’ high jump.
Cameron Revelez was 7th in the boys’ long jump and 8th in the triple jump.
Claire Miccio took 8th in the girls’ discus with a personal best 70-09.
The North Mason boys’ soccer team was eliminated from the 2026 District 3 Class 2A Boys’ Soccer Tournament on Saturday, falling at North Kitsap 2 to 0. The Bulldogs finish the season with a 5-11-and-1 record and were an 11 seed in the tourney.
