Port of Shelton Appoints Jeff Neely to Vacant Seat

[VIDEO] The Port of Shelton Commission appointed Jeff Neely to fill the vacancy on the Port Commission. There were three Port residents interested in the seats: Neely, Jim Murphy and Ned Wilson. The appointment was made during a special meeting Thursday afternoon.

Neely will be sworn into the seat at the next regular Port of Shelton Commission meeting at 2 PM on June 2, 2026 and serve the remainder of Dale Elmlund term in office. Elmlund resigned from the position last month.

This seat will be up for election in 2027 and any registered voter in the Port District would be eligible to run for that position.

Once again, MasonWebTV Powered by HCC was the only media present at the May 14, 2026 Port of Shelton Commission special meeting.
