[VIDEO] Jeff Neely was sworn in as Port of Shelton Commissioner Position 1 on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Last month, Neely was appointed to the seat on May 14th. Neely was one of three port residents interested in filling the seat left vacant after the April resignation of Dale Elmlund. Neely will serve in the seat until the end of 2027 and, if interested, will need to run for the seat in next year’s election.

Also during Tuesday’s meeting, the Port Commissioners approved a $260,000 change order for the project to renovate a building to accommodate Olympic Mountain Ice Cream relocating to the Port’s Peste Business Park.
