The Shelton girls’ soccer team lost to River Ridge Thursday 2 to 0. The match was scoreless at the half and the Highclimbers got the game’s first goal in the 49th minute. The Hawks evened the game at one in the 54th minute and scored what turnout to be the winning goal in the 63rd minute. The 0-and-3 ‘Climbers are off until Tuesday when they host Capital.
The North Mason girls’ soccer team was shutout by Olympic League foe Port Angeles Thursday 3 to 0. The 1-and-1 Bulldogs are off until Tuesday when they travel to Kingston.
The North Mason volleyball team lost their Olympic League opener to Port Angeles Thursday in three sets: 25-16; 25-13; 25-8. The 0-and-2 Bulldogs are off the court until Tuesday when they travel to Kingston.
The Mary M. Knight volleyball team lost their Coastal League opener Thursday at Naselle in three sets. The 1-and-3 Owls have a quick turnaround and host Oakville Friday.
