Sharon Trask will be resigning as Mason County Commissioner District 3 on Tuesday, September 15th.
Mrs. Trask informed MasonWebTV Powered by HCC of her pending resignation in an email sent Sunday, September 6th to County Staff, other elected officials, and other media outlets.
In the email, she asked that media hold off publishing her resignation until it is formally presented in the September 15th public meeting. Although her resignation was known by many in the community, MasonWebTV and other media outlets decided to respect Trask’s wishes and wait until the 15th.
However, one weekly media outlet decided to release the information prematurely forcing others to follow suit.
MasonWebTV has obtained a copy of Sharon Trask’s resignation letter and will be posting its five pages AFTER Tuesday’s meeting which will be streamed live.
MasonWebTV will also be posting Mrs. Trask’s “Goodbye to Mason County” column on Tuesday. That column will likely be published by the “Newspaper of Record” next week.
