Win for SHS Volleyball; Losses for SHS Tennis & Soccer, MMK & NM Volleyball, NM Soccer….
The Shelton volleyball team beat Adna Tuesday on the road three sets to two. The Pirates took the first game 20-25. The Highclimbers won the next two: 25-21 & 25-22. Adna evened the match at two sets apiece with a 25-23 win in the fourth game. However, the Highclimbers won the deciding set 18-16 (according to the NFHS Network). The 2-and-2 Highclimbers host Yelm Thursday.
The Shelton boys’ tennis team lost to Tumwater Tuesday 4 to 2. The 2-and-2 Highclimbers play at Black Hills Wednesday.
The Shelton girls’ soccer team lost to Capital Tuesday 3 to 0. The 0-and-4 Highclimbers play at Elma Thursday.
The Mary M. Knight volleyball team lost at Wishkah Valley Tuesday in three sets: 25-12; 25-21; 25-17. The 2-and-4 Owls host Wahkiakum Thursday.
The North Mason volleyball team lost at Kingston Tuesday in three sets: 25-16; 25-15; 25-22. The 0-and-3 Bulldogs play at Klahowya Wednesday.
The North Mason girls’ soccer team lost at Kingston Tuesday 4 to 2. The Bulldogs’ first goal came with 9:15 remaining in the game with their second goal during the final two minutes of play. NM is now 1-and-2 on the season and play at North Kitsap Thursday.
