The Shelton volleyball team made it three in a row Thursday with another close win: 3 to 2 over Yelm. The Highclimbers won the first set 25 to 15. The Tornados responded, taking the second set 25-21. Set three went to the ‘Climbers 25 to 18. Yelm won the fourth set 25 to 22. And in the deciding set, Shelton won 16 to 14. The 3-and-2 Highclimbers travel to Bremerton next Wednesday.
The Shelton girls’ soccer team was shutout at Elma Thursday 2 to 0. The Highclimbers are now 0-and-5 on the season. They play at Tenino Tuesday.
The Mary M. Knight volleyball team lost to Wahkiakum Thursday in three sets: 25-9; 25-14; 25-9. The Owls take their 2-and-5 record to Chief Kitsap Academy Friday.
The North Mason volleyball team lost at North Kitsap Thursday in three sets. The 0-and-5 Bulldogs host Bremerton on Tuesday.
The North Mason girls’ soccer team lost Thursday at North Kitsap 3 to 0. The 1-and-3 Bulldogs return to Phil Pugh Stadium Tuesday to face Bremerton.
