The Shelton football team rolled by River Ridge Friday 48 to 7.

The Highclimbers’ defense held the Hawks to 145 yards of offense while the ‘Climbers’ offense racked up 398 yards and found the end zone seven times.
Shelton quarterback Ryan Brady completed 20 to 23 passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for 47 yards and a TD.
Noah Parker ran for 77 yards and two touchdowns (plus a two-point conversion).
Alberto Manzo had 32 yards on the ground and a TD (plus a two-point conversion).
Jay Jay Rhoades had six catches for 80 yards and a TD.
Hayden Cash had seven catches for 82 yards and a TD.
Owen Carow rushed for the Highclimbers’ last touchdown.
Fletcher Henry blocked a punt and had a 54 yard return.
Shelton is now 2-and-1 on the season. The Highclimbers travel to Bothell next Saturday to take on North Creek. Kickoff is 1 PM on MasonWebTV Powered by HCC.
The North Mason football team opened Olympic League play on Friday and beat Port Angeles 46 to 6. The Bulldogs first score was a one-yard touchdown run by Brayden Bourboulis with 4:23 left in the first quarter.
NM went up 13-0 on a four-yard TD pass from Reid Shumaker to Owen Dukeshier with 42 seconds remaining in the first.
Nolan Shumaker’s interception led to North Mason’s third touchdown, a four-yard TD run by Bozey Tupolo, to make it 19 to 0 with 9:49 left in the second quarter.
NM wasn’t done. Bourboulis added a 21-yard touchdown run and a 13-yard TD run. And Shumaker threw a 32-yard TD pass to Derek Dunham. North Mason went into halftime with 39 to 0 lead.
No information was available for the second half as the Bulldogs improved to 2-and-1 on the season, 1-and-0 in League play. NM travels to Kingston next Friday.
The Mary M. Knight volleyball team swept the three sets at Chief Kitsap Academy on Friday. The Owls improve to 3-and-5 on the season. MMK hosts Lake Quinault Tuesday.
