Two people were injured, one seriously, when a motorcycle crashed in the City of Shelton Tuesday night. The State Patrol reports that the 1995 Harley Davidson was eastbound on King Road about 9:30 PM. The driver, Herbert W. Threet, 53 of Shelton, failed to stop at the stop sign at 12th Street. The bike crossed 12th, went into the parking lot of an apartment complex, crossed over a sidewalk, crashed through a fence and struck a parked car. The passenger on the Harley, Rhonda P. Quintana, 52 of Shelton, was ejected and found under a parked car. She was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Threet was transported to Mason General Hospital. The Trooper report indicates that the cause of this crash was Threet driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and he face charges of vehicular assault.
