Slope repairs, culvert replacement, guardrail work, pavement repairs, and seismic retrofitting will impact travel on State Highways August 13 through August 18.
Work continues to stabilize the hillside on Highway 3 north of Shelton. One-way, alternating traffic will continue at milepost 3.5 while crews repair the slope damaged by a slide in March.
A culvert replacement on U.S. Highway 101 near Beacon Point Drive will cause one-way, alternating traffic from 7 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.
Guardrail work, as part of safety improvements will cause night time right-lane closures on U.S. Highway 101 from Steam Island Road to Kennedy Creek. Work hours from milepost 357 to milepost 360 are 8 PM to 6 AM Monday through Friday.
Pavement repairs are scheduled on Highway 119 (Lake Cushman Road) from milepost 7 to milepost 10 and on U.S. Highway 101 from milepost 296 to milepost 299 causing one-way alternating traffic 7 AM to 5:30 pm Monday through Wednesday.
Work continues on to seismic retrofit the U.S. Highway 101 Overcrossing at the interchange with Highway 8. This work will cause night time left lane closures with 30-minute traffic delays Monday through Thursday 10 PM to 4 AM from milepost 360 to milepost 362.
Roadside maintenance is scheduled on Highway 302 near Allyn on Tuesday. Crews will be working from 9 AM to 3:30 PM between milepost 0 and milepost 5.
