On Wednesday, June 9, 2021, Mason County Public Health reported three new cases of COVID-19 in the County and confirmed an additional death due to coronavirus. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 34 Mason County residents have died from the virus. At last report, two Mason County residents remain hospitalized with COVID-19. With 61 cases, the County’s rate of new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 is now 94, down from Tuesday’s rate of 103.
