Whitelisting Preferred Senders

Email Spam filters do a fantastic job of removing unwanted email, but sometimes they work too well. The best way to ensure you’ll continue to receive desired bulk email and newsletters is to add the sender to your whitelist. As an example, the Shelton-Mason Chamber of Commerce uses the email marketing vendor Constant Contact. To guarantee you receive their newsletters you would:

  1. Log into  webmail  (https://mail.hcc.net)
  2. Click on the  Spam Settingsoption on the left menu
  3. Click the From: Whitelistoption in the center frame
  4. Add @sheltonchamber.org with mailbox and server checked in the pop up window
  5. Add @in.constantcontact.com with mailbox and server checked in the pop up window
