Warm Hands Project 2016
16TH ANNUAL WARM HANDS PROJECT!
Hundreds of Mason County children will be able to enjoy warm hands and heads during our cold winter months this year thanks to the sixteenth annual “WARM HANDS” project sponsored this year by Kristmas Town Kiwanis.
WARM HANDS is the collection of new mittens, gloves, and hats for Mason County elementary school children. The items are collected during the entire month of November and then delivered to elementary schools throughout Mason County the first week of December.
The need for such clothing is high in our county and this is an easy way for all members of our community to help our kids stay warm and safe.
Our goal this year is to raise 1200 sets of hats and mittens!
New hats, gloves, and mittens may be dropped off at the following participating businesses:
Olsen’s Furniture, Mariano’s Fine Jewelry; Peninsula Credit Union- Shelton and Belfair branches; Berkshire Hathaway; Bakala-State Farm; Hood Canal Communications ”“ Shelton and Union offices; iFiberOne News Radio; The Shopper; Tupper’s Floor Coverings and Interiors; Maple Glen Senior Living; Annie’s Quilt Shoppe, Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce.
