A Little More Snow Possible

A little more snow is possible through Thursday. The National Weather Service says rain and snow showers will continue for the next couple of days but little snow accumulation is expected for most areas. Lilliwaup, Matlock and areas at higher elevations have the greatest possibility to see additional accumulations of up to two inches. Continue reading A Little More Snow Possible

NM Basketball Players Make All-Olympic League

Three North Mason basketball players have earned honorable mentions on the All-Olympic League Team. Anthony Price was the only member of the Bulldog boys on the list while Jennifer Hicks and Julie Johnson made the girls’ list. All three are juniors.

City Holding Another Hearing on Pot Gardens Moratorium

The Shelton City Commission will be holding another public hearing on the City’s moratorium on collective gardens for growing medical marijuana. The moratorium has been in place since last September and was enacted to give staff time to draft regulations governing these types of gardens allowed under of Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill 5073 which allows up to ten persons to join together and grow marijuana for their medical use.
