The Mason County Commission, Tuesday, approved several updates to the County’s Comprehensive Plan. Some specific actions included in the 2016-2036 Comp Pan are removing approximately an acre from the Befair Urban Growth Area and rezoning it to Rural Residential 5; rezoning approximately 2.24 acres from Medium Density Residential (R-5) to General Commercial and Business Industrial (GC-BI); permitting electric vehicle charging stations in all zones except residential, resource or critical areas; and revisions to water adequacy regulations.
