High School Sports Results from 9/19/23

The Shelton freshmen football team (JV2) beat W.F. West Monday 13 to 6. The young Highclimbers’ Jay Jay Rhoades (name corrected) scored the game winning touchdown, on a 14-yard pass from Trevor Gott with 17 seconds remaining. The freshmen ‘Climbers improve to 2-and-0 on the season. They play at Rochester next Monday.

The Shelton junior varsity football team (JV1) was shut out at W.F. West Monday 37 to 0. The JV Highclimbers have a 1-and-2 record and host Hoquiam Monday.

The North Mason junior varsity football team improve to 2-and-1 on the season beating Kingston Monday 26 to 6. The JV Bulldogs host North Kitsap Monday
